Dave Warner’s Copper Canyon tour is not an ordinary experience. He treats you as if you were an invited guest in his home rather than just a tourist passing through. He has gone out of his way to think of niceties and comforts for his guests, and clearly shows great love for the area. The night we arrived, Dave shared stories of his life and served upscale wines from his private cellar. The first day after arrival, we spent collecting shells on a beautiful sand-dune filled beach along the Sea of Cortez. From there, we embarked on a beautiful, relaxing trip by first class train to an area very little known to North Americans outside of the region. Copper Canyon is not just a canyon, it is an extensive, history filled area with all the hallmarks of a great adventure. We highly recommend Dave Warner as the host and provider for such a trip.
