Mansion Tarahumara

The Mansion Tarahumara is an enchanting hotel just a short five minute walk from the awe-inspiring scenery from the rim of Copper Canyon. This is one of the most breathtaking panoramas in all of North America, and yours to contemplate and absorb the silence and majesty it has to offer.

The Mansion itself is surrounded by pine trees, and it’s architecture is reminiscent of an ancient castle.

The accommodations have a special style and design which reflect the Tarahumara Indian influence and culture. Each room has a private bath, two double beds and authentic custom made furniture.

You will enjoy fabulous and imaginative home-cooked meals in the large dining hall enhanced by a glowing wood fireplace and a mural depicting the history of the Raramuri tribe (“light footed people”) as the local Tarahumara Indians call themselves. This lightfootedness refers to their legendary speed and endurance in long distance running races where opposing teams compete to kick a wooden ball from one hillside to the next.
